Wordpress, for the blogging illiterate, is a site that allows you to create your own blog, on practically any subject you want, and for free, or you can upload Wordpress to the hosting provider that you are using, and implement a blog on your website. Either way, you will need a Wordpress theme to use for your blog page.

Wordpress themes range from every possible angle, and include many colors, layouts, and specific graphics. Wordpress templates can often be found for free, you simply have to plug the code into your Wordpress site, and you can change the templates whenever you feel you need a new look. Blogging has become so popular that Wordpress has a listing of many templates and themes on the site. There are, however, other sites that offer Wordpress themes and Wordpress templates that are unique. After all, the more unique and one-of-a-kind your blog is, the more interesting it becomes for those who visit it. You would not want a them on your blog that is seen on a thousand other blogs.

It becomes boring for your visitors. Having a theme and template that is original and unique will give your blog a distinction that will make people remember it, and possibly bring them back. Many sites that offer Wordpress themes and templates are free to use. You simply upload the template that you want, and there are normally even instructions for doing that. So if you want to really impress your blog visitors, if you have a Wordpress blog that is, then you would benefit yourself greatly by finding a variety of Wordpress templates and themes that are unique and different from the many that are offered on Wordpress. Not that there is anything wrong with those, but you want your visitors to be treated to something new and exciting. If everyone that uses Wordpress uses their templates, then chances are your template and theme are being seen on thousands of other blogs. Having a unique look to your blog is one of the key ways to bring in more visitors and keep them coming back.
