I’m a big fan of cocktails and mixed drinks, and lately I find myself visiting a new website I found on del.icio.us, it’s supercocktails.com
The site apparently has the largest online collection of mixed drink recipes, but the things I love the most are the accurate searches you can make (for example, specify 3 ingredients and it searches a cocktail with all of them) and the user account lets you get a “favorite drink list” that you can print out and categorize, very convenient!
I used to visit the webtender but supercocktails is quite better in many aspects (and the site seems to load much faster)
It also features a custom firefox (and IE7) search engine with which you can search cocktails directly from your browser
The site also lets you upload your own drink recipes, and I’ve uploaded quite a few already, they usually get approved/rejected 3-4 days after submission

One of the crowning touches in a kitchen is the countertops. Granite is by far the most popular choice these days and is available in over 150 colors. Prices vary from around $40 and up per square foot installed. When deciding what granite countertop color is preferred one needs to think about a few things. The most obvious is the color, which can range from black to beautiful shades of green and red. The second thing to consider is the look of the material. Some shades of granite are quite uniform, such as Absolute Black, while others are quite varied and mottled. If one looks at a small sample and thinks that it is perfect, one may be disappointed when the full slab has veins and patches of darker colors. Other items that need to be considered are whether or not an under mounted sink is required, type of edging desired, and the backsplash to accompany the new installation. Another concern is the thickness of the granite slab. 3 cm is the recommended thickness, while 2 cm is more likely to incur fractures and breaks.
Installation usually takes about 1 day, unless the demolition or installation is quite complex. All items in the lower kitchen cabinets should be removed to prevent dust and debris from getting in them during the demolition and remodeling process of the old countertops. Expect a fair amount of dust from the demolition and installation. Also don’t expect the old backsplash to be salvageable. Once the granite has been installed the undermount sink will be glued into place and any other items will be dropped in as neccessary. Any seams are then filled with epoxy to conceal them. Now that the granite is in, and the glue has had time to dry, the backsplash needs to be installed as does the sink drains and fixture. If there are cooktops or other appliances, they will need to be installed also. The entire process from the start of installation to finish usually takes approximately a week.
Caring for your granite is pretty simple. Your granite will be installed and sealed so it is ready for use. But you will need to reseal the granite on an annual basis. This is a simple process of just wiping the granite with a liquid sealant available at most hardware stores. While granite is hard, special care needs to be taken not to scratch the surface with hard objects such as diamond rings, tools or knives. People should never walk on top of the countertop or place extremely heavy objects on it. Heat should not be an issue since granite was formed at very high temperatures. Once installed granite will add beauty and increase the value of your real estate. It is one of the best choices for a kitchen remodel.

It is a good idea when starting the basic Dog Training to find out if possible , exactly what the puppys environment was before you brought him home. This will tell you what the puppy was accustomed to messing on in the early stages of life. (i.e. was it a newspaper litter box style, sawdust or shavings as in a barn or pet store, cement floor as in a kennel run, or maybe a grass bottom playpen.)
This information will help to determine what will immediately work for your puppy. The most common Puppy Training method of house-breaking is paper training. When using this method, you will need to spread papers, a couple layers thick in a certain area of the puppies most used room in the house. Also, you will need to spread some newspapers in the area of the yard where you want the puppy to make his bathroom. (of course weather permitting) Weight these down with rocks or bricks in the beginning stages.
Try to not allow the puppy to have access to the whole house as this is just too much territory for him to be able to handle in the early stages. This only reinforces long term housebreaking. Gradually over the first 4 months, after you have brought him into your home, can you start allowing him access to other areas unsupervised. When you catch the puppy in the act, but missing the papers, gather him up in your arms, scold him with a growling >>BAD PUPPY, OUTDOORS<<, take him outside to the designated bathroom area. Do this quickly.
Move quickly so your body language give the right message to the puppy as a sense of urgency. Set him down on the ground and repeat in a command voice “Hurry up!” “Hurry up!” You could use other words rather than hurry up, words of your personal choice, but hurry up sounds better than “pee pee”. Especially if your in a public place. When the puppy has done it’s duty, and only then, start to praise. “Good boy/girl!”, Outdoors -this is spoken in a praising tone. Even if the puppy has finished inside the house, praise him anyway. You are relaying to the pup that messing in the house is bad, messing outside is good. If your puppy doesn’t do anything after 5 minutes, pick him back up and bring him back inside with you. Supervised housebreaking with proper correction and praise will be much more effective then if the puppy is left outside alone after an in-house accident has occurred.
With puppy out of sight, clean up the mess with paper towels to remove the access and then deodorize the area with an a neutralizer cleaner available at most veterinary clinics, pet stores or where your buy your Dog Care products. If the puppy is present during the cleanup, he will sense your hostility again and become confused. The positive reinforcement with praise outside could be lost.
